Agenda

Session: Integration: SDL Tridion & JW Media Player
Description: Often clients have a need to embed videos such as flash or mp4, within their rich text content fields. Pasting video embed code is one way to deal with this, however, the video would then need to be hosted on a different site, like Vimeo or YouTube, or needs to be published separately in Tridion with the video URL hardcoded as part of the content. This is not an elegant, nor a user-friendly solution. The JW Player Video Renderer module allows the non-technical user to include a video Multimedia Component as a Component Link within their rich text field. All that is required is a little bit of configuration and a TBB provided here.
Presenter: Nickoli Roussakov (Content Bloom)
Nick has a history of building business web applications using various technologies including .NET, J2EE, various Oracle products and more, and has played many different roles in the software development lifecycle including Tester, Business Analyst, Developer, Project Manager and even an IT Strategy Analyst. His passion lies with designing and delivering solutions for the business through the use of technology. He immediately fell in love working with SDL Tridion since it enables the technologist to stay on top of his game. Currently Nick works as a Technical Director of Content Bloom Inc. in North America.

Session: Page publishing powertool demonstration
Description: The SDL Tridion community recently took advantage of the new GUI extension framework and rebuilt and refreshed the SDL Tridion powertools. This presentation will walk through the implementation and functionality of the Page publisher, highlighting what is possible with the tool and its usefulness to content editors, whilst showing developers how easy it is to build their own custom extensions.
Presenter: John Winter (Content Bloom)
John has been working with SDL Tridion for a huge number of years and has been fortunate enough to have worked on some very large scale SDL Tridion implementations.  John manages the European side of the CMS consultancy company Content Bloom

For this webinar we (ok, yes I) forgot to to record the session so you’ll have to rely on my word that it was the best one ever and we almost broke the internet in Belgium. If you are new to the community webinars you can check out last November’s recording.
